Now that the solar eclipse is over, what do you do with your glasses? Despite the desire to keep them as souvenir or until the next solar eclipse in 2024, don’t.

Smithsonian Magazine reports some have an expiration date unless they’re NASA approved. Instead do some good in the world by donating them to Astronomers Without Borders.

The organization is launching a redistribution program, sending used eclipse glasses to schools all over the world who will be getting their own total eclipses within 3 years. They’re partnering with corporate sponsors so check their Facebook page for more details.
