‘Cushioning’ Is The New Petty Dating Trend For Millennials

Millennials have found another new way of sabotaging relationships.

Introducing the NEW dating term: ‘CUSHIONING’ — where a partner in a monogamous relationship still flirts with other people just in case their relationship doesn’t workout, there’s a backup.

This had to have definitely started from dating apps like Tinder and Bumble!

Cushioning is just another thing to add on the list of terrible and petty dating trends, which includes ‘ghosting’, where people just stop replying to messages and disappear from their significant others, and ‘breadcrumbing’, where singles leave little hints suggesting that they’re interested but they’re not really interested because they never follow up and commit.

Welcome to dating in 2017….it’s all so confusing!
