Lately, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have flawlessly implemented the divide-and-conquer strategy for vanquishing haters: Kanye is “divide,” Kim is “conquer.” Now and then it’s nice to be reminded that the pair are really better together. Harper’s Bazaar selected the couple as cover stars for the September issue, the most coveted month of the year for any fashion bible. Vogue even made a documentary about that month.
For the Carine Roitfeld-styled photoshoot, the rap, fashion, and social media icons posed doing what they do best: gazing into their own reflections (via backlit screen), celebrating their bodies, and working some very fashion (if questionable) ensembles. The effect is Bonnie and Clyde for the Snapchat generation.
In the interview, Kimye discussed their favorite body parts: Kanye loves Kim’s face and her heart, Kim loves Kanye’s heart and her “upper stomach.” Yeezy’s favorite song is the Jimi Hendrix cover of Bob Dylan’s “All Along the Watchtower,” and Kim had a crush on Johnny Depp when she was a little girl.
Best of all, Kanye gave a perfect answer when asked to share his favorite Taylor Swift song:
“I don’t have one.”
